Introduction

Thank you for using Active Sky X!  This brand new re-design of our award-winning Active Sky weather engine technology represents over 2 years of active development.

We’ve spent considerable time and effort ensuring the most breathtaking and realistic weather environment simulation possible within Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X, while bringing a brand new graphical approach to weather data display and control functions.

Utilizing the new SimConnect API, we have a whole new level of dynamic control of the depicted weather scene, enabling new features such as dynamic virtual weather station creation and manipulation, more detailed and robust weather coverage, and hurricanes!

Active Sky X’s development also included designing a brand new high-efficiency weather server system to serve even more up-to-date and comprehensive data to clients. 

Dozens of new features and improved functionality will make the process of obtaining a realistic weather environment much easier while providing an even more challenging and rewarding flight simulation experience.

In short, Active Sky X is the next step in weather generation and management technology and we are extremely grateful for your participation and support of our developments.
